Google Apps for Business were a great way to achieve these things once upon a time, but now they seem to have started to charge for their services. If you are still trying to stand up on your feet, but want to look and feel as professional as you possibly can, this might not be an option for you as even a couple of bucks can be used to push your business forward.
For this reason, we recommend you going for Microsoft. They offer similar services, even more powerful tools in some cases.
You will get:
- Email storage with your domain name on it (@yourname.com)
- Calendar application
- Contacts application with various messaging platform integration, which include:
- Skype
- Windows Messenger
- 7GB of cloud storage with SkyDrive.
SkyDrive also includes modest versions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote. This means you will also save money on expensive software packages, if you have to install them on all of your employees machines. They might not be as full-blown, but definitely worth the hundreds of dollars you will save on licensing fees.
